The Annual Fall Excursion is Co Sponsored by the General Meade Society & American Legion Post 405
October 18 – 20
This year we will travel to Connecticut and Rhode Island, visiting Mystic Village; the Groton submarine Museum; the US Coast Guard Academy in CT; the Naval War College and museum in Newport RI; the Breakers and Isaac Bell House historic mansions and the Touro Synagogue in Newport RIand; the Essex Train/Boat excursion in Old Saybrook, CT.
Cost: $490.00 per person double occupancy($505.00 if paying by credit card).There is an additional $150.00 supplemental charge for a single room. Installment payments by check are accepted until the final balance is received.
Package includes deluxe motor coach via Perkiomen Tours; snacks & beverages on board;2 nights lodging at the Holiday Inn in Saunderstown, RI (full hot breakfast available, but for additional charge); lunch in Mystic Village on Friday; traditional pizza party at the hotel; Saturday night buffet dinner at Busker’s Irish Pub in Newport; all tours and admissions and a 2 and ½ hour rail/boat excursion in Essex CT.

Annual General Meade Birthday Celebration will mark the 209th annual anniversary of the birth of General George G. Meade, heroic commander of the victorious Union army at the Battle of Gettysburg.
