The General Meade Society was especially busy in 2015, the Bicentennial Year of General George Gordon Meade, the oft-slighted victor against Lee at Gettysburg, heroic leader in numerous other Civil War campaigns, loyal servant of the Union and honored Philadelphian. The Society celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016.
