The General Meade Society once again traveled to Citizens Bank Park for its annual outing to see the Phightin’ Phillies play against  the New York Mets. This past August 10th many Meade Society members gathered in the lower right-field stands to see the home team lose (10-0!) to our hated rival from the north.

One consolation was the debut — albeit unsuccessful that night — of future regular Rhys Hoskins.

This event is organized by Tom Kearney, baseball fan nonpareil, for which all of us from the society thank him! He informs us that the Society still has a winning record. Looking forward to next year with a better result!

Wait until next year!
